Windoodles

Garrett Miller does it again. First he rocked us with Imaginawesome (where he turned kid doodles into complete illustrations) and now he's invented a whole new form of doodling; where dry erase markers meet windows.

They are funny, they interact with their (often) scenic backgrounds and best of all, they are quick, improvised and temporary. The perfect definition of doodling.

My favorites are below, but you really should visit Windoodles to see the growing collection (he's even taking submissions).

Found via Wooster Collective.

Everyone Has A Story To Tell

After living in Vienna (counting 1.7 million people) for more than 10 years, A-FACE-A-DAY decided that it is time to present the beauty of Viennese and Austrian human beings to the world. I'm not sure if the captions of each person is real or imagined up by the illustrator himself, but they all tell an interesting story. It makes me want to know more about each and every one of these people. Check out the website to get acquainted with everyone.

The Ultimate Warrior

I never met someone who can draw so fast, so fine and so funny at the same time. He is probably right now in his lair, drawing some new warriors for his final battle against the forces of the unknown. I believe that Ninja Tiger is one of those people who are born to draw. With one black marker he manages to make the surface of the plane and simple white paper so rich and playful. He can draw in simple black and white, and still make you feel like all the other colors are present too. Enjoy!

The Chest of Fun

In Paul Loubert's chest you will find all of your childhood stories and much more. All of your old video games could be there too.

It's a crazy world of palms and funny creatures and it could be really fun to see Paul's creatures animated. I already see them moving all over my walls in some funny pixel animations.

Tiny Notions

There's something to be said about the sentiment behind a quickly drawn note, which is the exact concept behind Tiny Notions. Lisa Przybylski does (almost) daily post-it drawings for no reason at all. If I found any of her drawings lying around my desk at work, it'd pretty much make my day.

Doodle Wit

No one is more of a smart ass with their doodles than Marc Johns. Take a flip through his post-it note drawings for insight into the thoughts of logs, socks, antlers and paper clips.
