Coloring Book Interview Series, #6: Polly Lindsay

The thing about finding artists from our coloring books is that you never know what to expect from seeing the one illustration they submitted to us. What I found when I looked up Polly Lindsay was quite a surprise. Her art is pretty out of the ordinary from what we normally post here, but I got a little crush on her unexpected style of cutting and layering paper.

Coloring Book Interview Series, #4: Maria Garcia

I've been a long time admirer of Maria Garcia's colorful and adventurous illustrations. Her drawings have a certain magic to them that makes memories of my favorite storybooks from when I was a kid start resurfacing. Read on to find out more about Maria and see how she colored in her own page from our third volume.

Coloring Book Interview Series, #3: Paulo Correa

Illustrations in our coloring books all have their own personality, that's what happens when every page comes from a different artist. One of the stand-out styles is Philippino artist Paulo Correa. His sketchbook is full of a cast of crazy characters and so much going on in every image that you'll miss half the details if you only look at it for a few seconds. Click below to read his interview!

Coloring Book Interview Series, #1: Kelsey Wroten

Kelsey Wroten is an art student and visual storyteller that we published through our open call for submissions and featured in our Coloring Book, Volume 3. Having seen none of her work outside the coloring book page before I looked her up, I was pleasantly surprised to find that Kelsey specializes in comics! I had to reach out to her for an interview so I could share her uncensored world of snappy dialogue and surreal situations with you.
