Farewell Monsieur Cabinet

I bid you all a fond farewell, and hope you have enjoyed my contributions. If you would like to ask me any questions about my work/life/cat then please do so, I have a section on my site and am happy to add a link.

I thought I'd let you know a little bit about me and my work before I leave. Continue reading

Martin Haake

Telephone doodles, bad paintings, art brut and folk art inspire Martin to create masterful montages.

Saul Bass and Alan Sanders love child, Andrew Bakers illustrations offer a quiet sophistication of bold, clean, colorful concoctions. There is an air of confidence running throughout Andrew's work which slaps you in the face, his playful compositions and sense of negative space, stand proud of a man who knows his biscuits.

Azusa Nakagawa

With a website which emphasizes her weird little brain box, Azusa will transport you to a magical world of illustration & animation. It is clear she enjoys the art of making things move and her artwork only truly comes to life through this medium. Her animations (dare I say it) shadowing her illustrations. Lovely work and definitely worth a look.

Joseph, joseph, joseph, you weird beautiful man, with a showreel which should contain a seizure warning and content so varied you'd think they'd been blindly selected from a bag full of random words, Mr Spelling regurgitates work with underlying humour, colour and technical ability. Long live animation and God save the pixel.

Nick White

Nick White, combines imagery scavenged from Flea Markets, car boots and charity shops with an injection of sophisticated marks from a pen which he owns. I thought this post would tie in nicely with his current book launch and exhibition. The lucky swine. Buy a ticket to the Nick White carnival before all the hot seats sell out. He also has a great beard.
