What do I fancy about Katie Turner? She draws in her sleep. Well, she probably doesn't actually make marks while sleeping. But she seems like the sort of young illustrator who would often fall asleep with pencil in hand.

Two weeks ago she graduated from Parsons in New York, and I can feel that still-new freshness in her illustrations. It's obvious she's been taught well about colour and composition - but I mostly like how youthful her drawings feel. There's something eager about her.
