Dreams Are Necessary

Beautiful works by Rithika Merchant. Whimsical drawings broken into tiled sheets of paper. Her art all seems to be part of the same wild dream. I love her coloration. It looks like watercolor - it's so subtle. I'm envious!

I love the images and the color. What I don't understand about them is why they are torn or cut apart. It is really distracting.
